International Service

1. We established Sister Club relationship with the Rotary Club of Alabang (Manila, Philippine) in 1993/1994 and have since worked on a few Matching Grant projects which include reforestation of remote villages in the Philippines destroyed by volcanic eruption, supporting the Tuloy children village clean water supply in 2007/08 and in 2010/11 vocational training for the youth.

2. We established Sister Club relationship with the Rotary Club of Taipei (Taiwan) in March 2001 and have supported their dental service projects in Outer Mongolia in 1998 and in Cambodia in 2009.   We also supported their disaster relief effort after the Typhoon Morakot in Taiwan in 2009.   Each year we attended RC Taipei’s anniversary with a big delegation and enjoyed great golf and fellowship.

3. From May to Sept. 2005 we successfully completed our first ever Youth Exchange Program with Rotary Club of Kirkcaldy, Scotland.  Two secondary school students from both countries joined two weeks of home stay, school & cultural experience organized by Rotarians and Rotaractors. This youth exchange program won our club the District’s Best International Service Award in 2005/06
